If you live in Oregon long enough, you find that you are being drawn to the outdoors whenever the weather allows it. Today, we went for our 2nd annual Fathers Day Dog Mountain Hike. We went for 6.2 miles, climbed 2800 ft. and were up and back in 3 1/2 hours. I have to admit, it seemed like the trails were steep and a bit slippery up towards the top, but we were rewarded for our hard work with an incredible view and beautiful flowers. Of course every long hike deserves a stop at Walking Man Pub in Stevenson. While technically this hike is in Washington, it is just a quick hop over the bridge of the God's to this increadible hike.
